Saint Vincent le Paluel

Saint-Vincent-le-Paluel is a tranquil country village near Sarlat-La Canéda.

The Enéa, a charming stream rich in fish and surrounded by a protected valley, crosses through this village.

Two kilometres upstream, well-situated on a promontory, the 15th-century Paluel castle overlooks the valley. Burned by the Nazis in 1944, the castle is today listed in the register of historical buildings.

The village also includes the dry stone huts of Malevergne and Peyremole, which are also listed historical buildings.

Discover the charm of the Enéa Valley along the marked-out footpaths that criss-cross the village or along the long-distance GR6 path.
