The gardens which are both intimate and serene are born out of personal inspiration and are hidden away in the depths of an evergreen oak wood between the Lot and the Dordogne. They show a strong link between nature’s wildness and human activity. Full of romance with their stone fountains and rose covered archways, they are nevertheless anchored in modernity; contemporary sculptures placed around a winding path bear witness to their creativity.
The gardens, which are constantly in flower, stretch over two hectares. There is a wide ranging botanic diversity and a permanent struggle to achieve beauty. A fusion of styles have been used to create a vegetable garden, a formal orchard, a peony garden, a maze, a rose garden featuring ancient varieties, a poetry garden, an English style garden, woodland, a Tuscan garden, patio…………
