It is on board a genuine reconstruction of a 19th century “gabbare”, that you will experience life as it was on the River Dordogne, a century ago.
This epoch was immortalised in the television series “La Riviere Esperance”.
In this unique setting, as you pass by the foot of the Beynac Chateau and as you go upstream towards the Castelnaud chateau, you will be able to relax and enjoy the 50 minute return trip.
There is a French commentary throughout the trip.
