Overview
Departure from La Roque-Gageac for an hour’s river trip on our boats which are modern, safe replicas of the traditional gabarres.
During the 7km trip the pilot and guides will tell you about the history and local customs which form the cultural identity of our river, its valley and the people who live here.
On the agenda: Prehistory,the Middle Ages, the life of the “gabarriers”( the men who worked the boats), the river, fauna and flora, ecosystem and geology.
For a peaceful ride our boats have silent and eco-high performance motors.

Open from Easter to the end of October. Afternoons only in October.
