Discover the production of handcrafted walnut oil in an authentic 16th century water mill, still running today.
The Moulin de la Tour produces delicious virgin walnut, hazelnut and almond oils using traditional French methods.
Situated 9km from Sarlat, the owners’ welcome you for a guided tour, where you can witness the walnut oil extraction process and savour authentic flavours.
Oil tasting and private sales of the Moulin’s specialities.
Visiting days & times:
- From October to March: Friday
- April to May: Wednesday and Friday
- June and September: Wednesday and Friday morning/afternoon, and Friday afternoon
-July and August: Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning/afternoon, and Saturday afternoon
From 9am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 6pm.
Closed on Sunday.
