Description

At the heart of the Vézère Valley, come and discover all aspects of a prehistoric dig.

In Les Eyzies, at the foot of the cliff, prehistorians have uncovered a series of over forty reindeer hunter camps, dating between 35,000 and 20,000 years BC.

With a tour accessible to anyone, you will find out in the Abri Pataud, the methods used by scientists to piece together prehistoric people’s ways of life and environments when they inhabited this rock shelter.
